My Grandmother

Hid me under her wings,
She always struggled to tie the strings
Went through so much pain,
But never heard her complain
Now she lives under the soil,
We know we can’t see her,
No matter how much we toil
I know she won’t listen to my screams,
The only way to see her is through dreams
She was the strongest women I’ve ever seen,
For charity, she was always so keen
My wish to hug her prolongs,
I sit by the window
And remind myself to be strong
I got this site from my pal who told me about this site and now this time I am visiting…
